Hey fellow bloggers and follwers! In case anyone is interested in heading over and liking my Facebook Page for my art creations here it is; https://www.facebook.com/InspiredCreationsByNikkiMay
It would be greatly appreciated! It is tough getting your page shared and liked, but I am hoping to do it all by factor of people actually going to it and clicking like, I don’t want to pay for likes, some people do, but I am trying my hardest to never have to! I was able to get my one music promotion page up to over 200 likes now, but that took over 6 months, and was not easy at all! Apparently a lot easier to do that then to get people liking my personal artist page. Hope you head over and like what you see! 🙂
Today, I needed to create. I haven’t created in a few weeks, so I felt I was slacking in that department, so here we are!
I have created a few things with comic books, mainly light switch covers, cigarette cases, and some other random things. I have been meaning to do a pair of shoes like this forever, seriously, since I came across the first link on http://www.stumbleupon.com/home .
X-men, Spiderman, Batman, Joker and Harley Quinn(my fav) are my top 5 comic book characters! Love them! I wish I was more of a geek when I was younger, no idea why I hid it so much!
I absolutely love these shoes. If you want to make yourself a pair, just Google search ’em. Plenty of people have created these shoes in tonnes of different ways and styles! Everyone making their pair their own!
Hope everyone had a great Saturday night, here I am creating things rather than going out to the bar like any other 23 year old in this city! Hey, I’m happy about it so who cares right?!
I seen a daily prompt for texture and it makes me think of my pieces that I create using old puzzles! Neat eh?!
I sat out one day hoping to put together a puzzle because I hadn’t sat and done one since I was in college. I was starting with the outline as always, but as I was reaching the end of the outline, I was upset to find out I was missing edge pieces! I know right?! So when this upsetting news came to me I grabbed my glue gun and a canvas and set to work, this is the first one that I came up with. I have created plenty of them since, three of which have been commissioned! =) Love to create different pieces of work!
